The goal of the Consolation Ministry is that no member of our parish family will grieve alone. We offer the bereaved family light refreshment after the vigil or rosary; most families have enjoyed the opportunity to visit with relatives and friends, and we are happy to provide this service. Each November we celebrate a special memorial Mass followed by a short program and a soup and sandwich supper. Who is it for? Anyone wishing to help Volunteers can help with vigil services, furnish coffee and cookies after vigil services upon request, and assist with the Mass of Remembrance after All Souls Day |
