The purpose of the Finance and Capital Improvement Committee (expanded from the Finance Committee) is to assist the Pastor in ensuring the current and future fiscal accountability and stability of the parish and to enable the parish to meet its future physical needs. Additionally it is the responsibility of this committee to engage in the ongoing assessment of the parish's physical needs and to develop and maintain a facilities master plan to meet those needs.

The focus of this committee is upon monitoring and evaluating the parish's fiscal situation on a regular basis and developing a long-range facilities master plan based on the needs of the parish community.
