Members of the Legion of Mary strive to become fit instruments in Mary’s hands by leading a life of personal sanctification through daily prayers and active work under our parish priest, to ease his duties and therefore reach out to a greater number of people.

Some of the duties for active Legionaries include:
bulletvisiting new parishioners and those who have fallen away from the church,
bulletmaking consoling calls in time of need,
bulletdistribution of Catholic literature, and
bulletencouraging devotion to praying the Rosary.
bulletLegionaries can also be involved in prison ministry.
bulletOn a weekly basis they distribute Holy Communion to Catholic patients in the hospitals and nursing homes of El Dorado.

Who is it for? People who would like to help others, in a humble and confidential manner, and who are willing to perform the duties involved in the Legion membership are invited to join. Feel free to attend a weekly meeting to check it out!

If you can't be an active member, but are willing to provide prayer support, you can become an auxiliary member.

Meetings: Mondays 6:00 – 7:00 pm in the school
