Eucharistic Adoration

Contact: Kent & Dibs Willis (742-9243) adoration@stjohneldorado.com

Eucharistic Adoration at St. John’s is time spent with Jesus in the chapel (located in the cry room) where the Blessed Sacrament is exposed. Persons commit to a specific day and hour each week so that the Blessed Sacrament is never left unattended. Substitutes are available to take care of emergencies. People are also always welcome to drop by for an unscheduled visit any time the chapel is open. Please sign your name whenever you come for a visit.

We have had Adoration since February of 1999. The chapel is open every week from 6:00am Wednesday through 7:00pm Friday. Even all through the night, someone is keeping a constant vigil of prayer. This has been a wonderful blessing for all those involved. It has brought people the healing they needed, and a closer relationship with the Lord, truly and literally present in the Blessed Sacrament — Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity.

Who is it for? We always have room for more people, and will be happy to expand our hours to include everyone who can come. Even the smallest deed done for the love of God always bears fruit. Your willingness to choose an assigned hour (or be a sub) is a precious expression of your faith.
